BioSo after leaving this blank, I decided to go ahead and fill in my bio seeing as how I use LiveJournal a lot more than I originally thought I would.
My name is Adam. I'm 23 and have yet to finish my bachelor's degree. It's in Political Science, so it's probably better I stay in school as long as I can before leaping into the "real world" only to learn I should have picked another major.
Though many consider me to be young, I feel quite old- especially considering I spend most of my time surrounded by starry eyed college kids getting their first taste of independence away from mom and dad. Being surrounded by such optimism/stupidity can be invigorating/annoying, depending on how you look at it.
I definitely did not take a straight and narrow path(ie. high school, college/military service, 9-5 job, 2.5 kids) and often continue to wander astray.
In real life(meaning if you hadn't encountered me on the computer) I have an endless sense of humour and am generally chipper. However- as most of you know- you can't be happy all the time. So that's where I make use of my LiveJournal account. If I'm really happy, I'm outside enjoying time with friends. If I'm not I rush to my blog and write out all of my frustrations. So the rest of the world and most of the people in my daily existence, get to see Dr. Jekyll. If you read my journal, you are stuck with Mr. Hyde.
Which may leave you- the reader- to believe I'm a misereable wretch. And there is some truth to that, I won't deny it. Life is tough. But just know that if we ever cross paths in real life(that means off the computer), I'm pretty darn good at hiding it.
